open studios
Would you like to practise regularly with others? Would you like to work on your own projects with my support and develop your skills further?
If so, then one of the open studios is the right place for you.
The studios meet weekly and are cheaper than individual courses because they are designed as a regular, long-term opption. (Individual lessons 20.-, ten-session card 180.-)
A trial lesson is free of charge.
The studio has 12 workstations.
There are three different studios:
drawing for children and teenagers
Drawing for children and young people aged between 10 and 15.
For fun or as preparation for creative training and careers.
Every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
drawing for adults
For free drawing in small format, using your preferred technique.
No prior knowledge necessary. I particularly recommend that beginners attend the course "Zeichnen ist lernbar" ( ‘Drawing can be learned!’ ) beforehand.
Every Thursday (starting 24 April 25)
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
(Individual lessons can also be attended.)
Japanese calligraphy, shodo
Practise Chinese and Japanese characters with brush and ink. I will provide you with templates tailored to your individual skill level and guide you through the process. Beginners should definitely attend the ‘Sino-Japanese Writing and Calligraphy’ course first.
Every Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Please register by email before coming for the first time. I will let you know if there are any places available.
urban sketching
If there is interest, I will be offering urban sketching in the Bern area on Saturday afternoons.
In the spirit of an urban sketching group, I will not be participating as a course instructor, but rather as a regular urban sketcher.
