Drawings always seek to convey information and tell a story. Picture stories, starting with cave paintings, are older than books and writing itself. Whether we call them comics, bande dessinée, manga or graphic novels today, they are one of the most challenging and versatile art forms.

On the next subpage, you will find a modest (several years old) attempt at a comic about Bodhidharma in the Shaolin Monastery.

I often carry around ideas for comics, but unfortunately, due to time constraints, I have not been able to implement any of them. But now I've pulled myself together and TATA TATAAAA, uploaded the title page and the first pages of my web comic ‘Geteilte Welt’ (Divided World).

I have a rough outline of the story in my head, but (without financial support...) I will only be able to draw it very slowly, page by page, in my spare time. I would appreciate any feedback via the contact form.
